The 20th has come and gone. That was my original due date. The ultrasound due date set me at July 30. So…today I am exactly 39 weeks according to that date!
I can’t help but constantly think about when I will be having this baby. I am not anxious by any means about it, I am just curious 🙂 Yesterday and today was the first time that I really felt like I wanted to have her. It’s just getting hard. Many things ache at this point. But I don’t want to complain too much because I am very blessed to have the pregnancy I have had.
I don’t have my hospital bag packed yet, I don’t have the girls packed yet. Maybe it’s my procrastination that is keeping this baby in longer. All I know is that these contractions are sure increasing in strength. That’s good…but painful. It’s all worth it in the end 🙂
I thought I would have Lili take some pictures of my belly on the original due date. Here is what I look like right now (well on Thursday):
Well she wasn’t done. After she took the original pics, she wanted to take a couple more. So, how does a photographer tell her daughter NOT to take pics. This is what she got…happy me! 🙂
I have so many people guessing when I will have this baby. And for both our families, this is a very busy time for us. Between birthday’s, anniversaries, death anniversaries of dear family members, I am just about convinced that this sweet baby girl will be born on one of them.
I was originally hoping she would be born on the 23rd, that was the day that my Grandpa passed away. I get teary eyed just thinking about that. I miss him dearly… :”(

July 24th :: Nothing
July 25th :: Nothing
July 26th :: My mother-in-law’s birthday and Evenlynn’s birthday, daughter of my girlfriend Cheryl
July 27th :: Nothing
July 28th :: My grandmother’s birthday and my girlfriend Anya’s birthday
July 29th :: Mike’s sister and her husband’s anniversary
July 30th :: Our nephew Joe’s birthday

A Tuesday baby! 26th. She's gotta come on a Tuesday :). However, if she came Monday it was make for a GREAT start to a week :).
