cancer SUCKS!

Have to vent.  Not sure what else to say.  I’m so sick of hearing about this – people are too young.  Ahhhh!!

So many people have lost loved ones. So many have had family/friends diagnosed. Some recent diagnosis’ some have know for a while.

Mike’s mom is undergoing surgery right now – as I type this – cancer related.  A friend called with the same news.  My Dad just had a friends’ wife die.  A former work associate just lost his Mom to carcenoid cancer (same cancer as my  mother-in-law’s).  These are just what I can think of off the top of my head.

So all this money is going to research, why is there NOT a cure?  A personal and selfish thought, if cancer WERE cured, wouldn’t all these doctors be out of work?  Just a thought….

Where the HELL is all this money going????  Seriously…

We need a cure!!  We are loosing too many people from this.  Good people.

  1. Prayers sent. I’m sorry. Dan’s Dad was diagnosed only a few months ago and Dan will be traveling to Detroit next week to stay with his dad during surgery. (Dad lives here, but has to travel for surgery.) My mom became a survivor only a year ago after a long fight. Thinking about you guys!

  2. It is scary, so many people in my family and my wife’s family have had some kind of cancer. I’ve heard from some, and know in done ways you can prevent it, but once it’s there if it’s not caught right away, it spreads. It’s terrible to be so helpless as your family or friend is suffering. I do say prayers will help the mind set of the patient and those around them. Staying as strong as possible while making sure to express your feelings with others will help.
