Preslee’s 1st Birthday is next week. With all that has been going on this summer (busy, busy, busy), I feel the decorations have taken a back burner. well, back burner no longer because her party is next Satyrday! nine. days. away.

I am working with this wonderful shop (AdoraBelleDesign on Etsy – GO LOOK!) on a Birthday Banner in her Birthday Theme, but I found this other thing that I just LOVE. i want to make it on my own…pull a cheap card because I really don’t want to spend any more money on decorations.
This is what I want (again, this picture is from AdoraBelleDesign):
How can I make this on my own? I obviously have the pictures. Do I just go to a printer with the months printed out and then find some pretty paper to glue these on to?And those frames? Should I go to Hobby Lobby or something like that and get pretty paper and cut things out?
All you crafters – give me some pointers!!

I am willing to bet you could get those frames already cut like that somewhere? Scrapbook store or hobby lobby. And yes you could just print out the months on white paper and stick them on fancy paper and cut them out…with decorative sicssors.

I think the frames are from a cricut cutter – a template you buy for that type of machine. If you don’t find the precut frames at Hobby Lobby. Then use an actual picture frame of that style (which I have if you want to borrow) trace it onto scrapbook paper, then cut it out. The months template – buy or borrow a punch which you can either find @ Hobby LObby or Michaels. use their 40% coupon. Can’t wait to see the pictures! I can’t believe she is going to be turning one!
