quite possibly the easiest chicken and dumplings recipe!

I am addicted to Pinterest.  There, I said it.  HOWEVER, I feel I am excused for this addiction.  My reason?  I get LOTS of recipe and crafts!  There, that’s justified, right?  I’m not just searching for fabulous new outfits, gorgeous jewelry, decorating ideas….well, not all the time. 🙂

Anyways, onto the recipe!  I found this on Pinterest and just had to share how yummy it was and how easy it was in my variation of the recipe.

(HERE is the original “pin” I found on Pinterest)

Ingredients
1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup (Instead you can use another can of Cream of Chicken Soup)
1 can of Chicken Broth
5 Large Refrigerator Biscuits (you can get flaky kinds too, I just used the regular)
You can add onions, carrots, celery….anything else you want to to “spice” things up a bit. We are just a little more bland! 😉

Place the chicken in the crock pot, then add the butter.

After that add the cans Cream of Chicken Soup (or the Mushroom Soup in my case) and the can of Chicken Broth. I then cooked it on high for 4 hours.

After the 4 hours I removed the chicken from the crock pot and shredded it on a cutting board. Put the chicken back in followed by the cut up biscuits. I just cut them in 8 pieces. No need to cook the biscuits ahead of time, just plop them on in with the chicken and other mixture!

Cook an additional 30 minutes on high.

This fed my little family of 5 – and my sister who stopped by! 🙂

Enjoy!
