Very simple one for you today! I was first introduced to this idea at Main Dish Kitchen. Since learning about this and many other dinner ideas, Main Dish has closed. That is fine, now I just have to get creative on my own!
You can do any sort of variation that you want. I think the best ones are made out of the ciabatta rolls. However, I have used other rolls and they are just as yummy, ciabatta are just the best.
Pick out whatever meat and cheese you want and add it to the sandwich. After you make your sandwich, wrap it with aluminum foil and place it in the oven for approx 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Voila! A fancier way to spice up the ordinary sandwich!
Both my kids and husband love this. My favorite variation right now is swiss cheese, roast beef and salami.
