So…every year our friends and us celebrate our anniversaries together. We will pay for dinner on their anniversary, and then they pay for dinner on our anniversary. This all started about 8 years ago approximately and has continued out religiously. It’s very fun!
This dessert was AMAZING!!!! It was the Cheesecake Factory’s newest creation…Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake! I think God may have had a hand in creating this masterpiece! Sam and I ate the majority of it since we are both COMPLETELY ADDICTED to anything that combines peanut butter and chocolate, but we however were both practically sick at the end too! LOL!
Well, this year we are both celebrating our 10-year anniversaries. TIME FLIES!!! Sam and Cheryl were planning on heading to Chicago, and since Mike and I just got back from New York less than a month ago, we decided we wouldn’t be able to make it. Well, at the last second, it all came together and Thursday night details were finalized and we left Friday morning! Left around 11:00 Friday morning, stopped by the Michigan City outlets on the way to Chicago and ended in Chicago about 4:00. That night we went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and capped the night with a little more shopping!
The following day we met up with another couple of our friends. They were going to be staying Saturday night at the same hotel. We had a great lunch at The Grand Lux Cafe and then Mike and I took off. The weather was starting to get a little shady, so I am glad we decided to head home. Plus, it was great to get home to our girls!
