I heard this song and just had to share my feelings on it. Not sure if anyone will relate, but I thought it was very applicable to so many life situations I hear of 🙂
Some days are just tough. You know what I mean? Seems like nothing is going right. I constantly have to remind myself that I’m not alone. My God is walking with me the whole way, leading me….if I let him. There are so many things in this life I just don’t understand. AND so many that I do as well 🙂
God is always there with me. Holding me. Yearning for me to talk to him, ask his guidance, ask him to move in my life. Why don’t we ask more often? Or more importantly, why don’t we trust that he already has our plan handled and knows how to get us through whatever situation we are going through and WILL get us through if we just trust him. He wants us to call on him. He wants us to depend on him. Shame on us for thinking we can do it on our own.
It seems like SO many people are just wandering in this world that God has given us. And I know so many Christians doing this exact thing. I believe we were all created for greatness, some just choose more than others to use this greatness.
This is a great song, so much meaning. I encourage you to listen to all the lyrics, maybe it’s just me but I feel they are so applicable to so many people’s situations.
I only copied an excerpt from the song as that is the part talking to me. You can get the song in iTunes, so go download it! 🙂
Lyrics from ::
“Take You Away”
by Kerrie Roberts
Don’t cry cause you know you’re not alone
Now, let me dry your eyes
Now it’s time that you finally find out
There will always be a new day
At the end of every hard one
Now I’m on my way
So I can be the help you starve for
I’m calling to take you away
To the place where pain won’t find you
I’m calling to take you away
So leave the weight of the world behind you
And you know nothing’s too far
Nothing’s too hard
I’ll always be there
I’m coming to take you away
To take you away
