The Bissell Stomp “N Go pads could not have come at a better time!   Just in time for a LOVELY spill on my “new within a year” carpet. Just perfect is what I was thinking. Then I remembered I received the Bissell pads about two days before.  There I went, to tackle the spilled chocolate milk.  Here’s a little about them, then I’ll get on with my story…
BISSELL‘s Stomp ‘N Go pads remove most spots and stains within 30 minutes, though tougher stains may take up to 24 hours. Made with parents in mind, they work to clean spots left from red wine, food, juice, coffee, tea, pets, blood, mud, dirt – to name a few. Even better, they leave behind a fresh scent and can be used on nylon, wool and stain resistant carpets. 
So, spilled chocolate milk on the carpet.  Like I didn’t already have a million things to do at that moment.  And I NEVER feed my kids chocolate milk.  Like, it’s very rare.  Go figure… Found the pads, ripped it open.  Stomped it out (didn’t really stomp, like I was envisioning a dance…I just stepped on it over and over a few times). Voila! 
Here is a little on the “science” behind the pads: 
BISSELL comes to our rescue with the new Stomp ‘N Go stain-lifting pad. The pads come pre-moistened with oxy-based cleaning formula, so when you place one over a spill and give it a good stomp, the stain will begin to absorb into the pad. There’s no need to scrub or use other cleaning tools – Stomp ‘N Go does all the work. 

Here is what I liked about the pads:
  • SO simple to use – open and stomp. They are all wrapped individually AND pre-moistenend.  So no mixing/spray bottles/dumping…
  • Smell good
  • The area doesn’t stay wet FOREVER like other cleaners
  • They are $4.99 a box – hello!  I think that’s a great price for a stain product that works.
  • Again (for effect because this was said above) they “permanently remove tough set-in stains like red wine, food stains, fruit juice, pet messes, mud/dirt, coffee/tea, blood and more.” So what doesn’t that cover!?!?

Needless to say, I’ll be purchasing more of these pads. They did the trick with this busy mama.  With three kids, a dog and a mountain biking husband, I can guarantee that sometime in the NEAR future we will be needing these pads again.
