Has it been a trip! It’s been 5 weeks now and most days I can walk WITHOUT a limp! Hallelujah!
Some have asked for photos, so I thought I would just put up a post. If you don’t like to see scars, etc., I wouldn’t read this post. 🙂
I am incredibly thankful for the doctor and surgeon. He is fantastic. Not only was he great, the anesthesiologist was a hoot!
These pictures were taken the day my stitches and staples came out. Not pretty, but boy oh boy could it have been worse. I’m so thankful!
Keep in mind, I had a pedicure the day before my surgery. It’s amazing how FAST my feet changed and got calluses. Totally depressing…
Here is the bottom/outside of my foot. It was pinched for the ENTIRE 2 weeks I was in my boot. It would go to sleep, go numb and go into so much pain. We had no idea why. Well, it’s because it was pinched!
Here are the tops of my feet…check out my wicked scars! 🙂 They actually look REALLY good.
And bruised all the way from top to bottom of the foot…
Here are my swollen, icky, yucky NO MUSCLE legs. I just sat down and cried when I realized HOW much muscle I lost. Oy!
And last but not least, here is my leg scar…wicked crazy looking, huh?!?!

I recognize those leg scars… 😉 It’s amazing how quickly you’re coming back from all these surgeries! The power or prayer!
