Here is how our conversation went upon me turning to see Adalynn like this after I was done talking to the mailman at our front door:
Me: “Honey are you ok?”
Adalynn: Through tears, “yah I think so! Help!”
Me: “Ok, hang on one second honey, I’m going to go grab the camera.”
Yup…Mother of the Year. But I can’t wait to show her all these photos I have collected over the years once she is 20-something!

Priceless! And yes, these photos will still be great a few decades from now. My parents have a photo of my little sister from when she was 2 or 3 and tried climbing up our TV antenna and got stuck in it. They did the “I’ll help you but let me grab the camera first” thing, and we STILL tease her about it (she’ll be 32 in a few weeks!).
