Well, well, well. Who would have thought THIS is the time I would start writing on my blog again…during the coronavirus of 2020. It’s been YEARS…and many life adventures between then and now. I thought timing would be good though only because I have so many saved areas of interest that I will be perusing this time off with my girls. I am sure there will be gaps in my posting, as life happens. But I also thought, if this could help a couple families who are completely lost right now with what to do, my typing time will be worth it. Also, maybe I can help some realize that we don’t have to be perfect and the kids are going to be fine in the long run (my ‘simple’ opinion). If you are concerned about the kiddos and their education, that’s the number one thing. It shows you care. That, in and of itself, shows that they are going to be fine because you are going to work at it for them and help them. Go you!! 🙂
So, here we go. Our day #1 of break was actually Tuesday, because I had to go into work on Monday. I work at the elementary school and it was open for a bit to wrap things up for closure and allow some precious kiddos in to get some library books for this L.O.N.G. break.
The girls love to draw. Well, the oldest is too cool…now. Give it another week and I’m sure she will be joining in. Ha! Among the hundreds of things I’ve seen on Facebook and other social media sources, we decided to draw with Mo Willems. He’s apparently doing drawing every day during lunchtime. Don’t worry if you miss lunchtime though, it’s all HERE on Youtube.
Next was gym class. Ha! Since we can’t get Mr. Olsen or Mrs. Blackport right now, we settled for Coach Wood out of Tennessee! He’s completely uncomfortable to watch dancing but gives the kids a big laugh at the same time.
I hope these two sites help you fill your days. Like I said, I think they will continue to upload new content as well each day. But, time will tell with them too!
Be sure to leave a comment with what you are doing or what you have found as well. I’d love to know!
