My thoughts on "The Maxwell Daily Reader" for January 4th

I liked today’s article. “You Are Your Lens”. It talks about how you are who you see others as, which by itself doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Pretty much, if you see people as liars, untrustworthy, deceitful, etc. you will always see other people that way. If you see people as trustworthy, honest, kind, fun loving, etc., you will always see other people that way. Chances are that no matter the person you come into contact, your opinion of them is always be similar. That is what this was talking about. You need to work to see people in a better light if you seem to always be telling others or yourself that everyone seems to be this same type of person. Does that make sense? It does in my head 🙂

The way you see people is also a reflection of how you see yourself in a sense. There are so many people out there with self image issues…I can see how this relates a lot to them. I have had a lot of self image issues in the past and work on it daily to overcome these. I need to work on seeing the BEST in everyone and focus on that and that will in turn help me change my perspective of everyone around me. We need to not dwell on the bad or the imperfections in people and maybe that will help them change, if they want to. If you are focusing on their good you will automatically be talking to them more respectfully and have more fun with them. Think about it. Maybe that one person who always seems to be bringing you down or frustrates you because they are negative, just needs you to focus on the good in them and bring that to the forefront of your mind instead…I promise this is going to show when you are interacting with them.

My thoughts 🙂 Have a blessed one!
