The Ultrasound Results!

Just kidding…no results here today….just a little update!

It was fantastic!  It was just fabulous to see our newest edition for the first time!  For all those that have been asking, NO we didn’t find out.  The ultrasound technician put  the gender in an envelope and that envelope is now in Gretchen’s hands.  We will find out what baby #3 is going to be on Sunday!  Aaron and Gretchen are hosting a “Sex Unveiling Party” for us where we will find out!  I believe we are going to find out once we cut into a cake that Gretchen is ordering.  BUT, she and I haven’t talked details and confirmed things yet.  So TBA on that for now.

The gal said our little “it”…(or “Baby #3” as Lili calls it) was just perfect.  She said “it” was measuring just perfectly.  That made me very happy.  Isn’t “it” cute!?!? 🙂

AND…I finally got some answers as to why I haven’t been feeling the baby move more regularly.  The placenta is anterior…which means it is attached on the wall right behind my belly button…so it is between the baby and where I would feel the baby.  WHEW!  What a relief.  I’m sure able to rest easier now after seeing that.  Last week was a VERY bad week for me emotionally for this exact reason.  I was not feeling the baby move much and that was also going along with some “growing pains” too I believe.  Not a good combo.  For some reason I was just worrying so much more this time around than I have with the other two little ladies in our life. 🙂  I am SO much more at peace now.  Praise God!

Anyways, all is WELL at our house and now the countdown begins for Sunday!
