BAM! 10 years flew by…JUST. LIKE. THAT. How did that happen?
Mike and I have been married for 10 years, today! 10 years ago right now, I was getting my dress on preparing to walk down the aisle with Mom and Dad on each arm to lead me to the man I was to spend the rest of my life with.
It was a gorgeous day (well other than the rain RIGHT as all the guests were walking into the ceremony – cleared up right as the ceremony started!) Everything was perfect and to this day we still have people commenting on how perfect our day was. Looking back on it now, there are a few things I would change, but at the time it was just perfect.
We had a reception with about 250 people at a lovely Italian venue – everything was perfect and the food was delicious!
The following day we flew out to Hawaii for 10 days. AMAZING!! We loved every second of our honeymoon…well, other than the part where we went scuba diving and I got sea sick!

We had plans to spend our 10-year anniversary in Hawaii where we honeymooned, but plans changed as soon as we found out we were expecting. A great trade-off however. Preslee is worth it! 🙂 We will plan something for 2012 instead!

Shannon, I have to say you look HILARIOUS in your "early days" pics!! Although you were seriously adorable, you have transformed into an exquisite beauty over the years. Mike is one lucky man!!
