I don’t know why but I am INCREDIBLY bothered this year with all the Happy Holiday’s nonsense. Dear goodness me!! It was Christmas years ago, it’s Christmas now and it will be Christmas in the future for me and my family!!
My Lord and Savior is everything to my family and I. I can’t imagine taking this wonderful event (his birthday) and changing it into the socially accepted “Holiday”. That’s bonkers.
My girls will KNOW the real reason for Christmas. It’s not due to the fat man bringing all the gifts. That’s not the reason. When you ask my girls what’s the reason for Christmas, they will say “It’s baby Jesus’ birthday!” Period.
I challenge you to think about this. What are you saying? Are you saying Happy Holidays and being pushed over just so you don’t “ruffle” any feathers? Trying to be “politically correct?” RUFFLE THOSE FEATHERS! Who cares if you upset someone in this situation. Do what is right! SEt the right example for your kids. The people who have this wonderful “holiday” here in December should be thanking all those that still say Christmas…because of Christmas they get their HOLIDAY!
