Technically we are on day 2.5, but I’ll just round it up to Day 3.
At the end of the day now, the work is HOPEFUL! Phew! It was another long one, and yes, I know they all are when we are potty training 🙂
I was quite concerned at the point when I put Adalynn down for her nap today. But when she woke up, it seemed so much different. We had many successes this afternoon, and now I taught her how to “see” the pee, which is fascinating to her. So, she will sit on the potty and spread her cute little legs and “look” to see the pee! Only a potty training parent will understand WHY this is a good thing LOL!
Here are a few pics I took right before bedtime tonight. Much different from the first night!
The first success came today when she was so scared to go but I know she had to. So at her request, we got up on the potty and she immediately wanted to get down. Instead…I just started tickling her. If she is anything like her Mom, I knew she would pee LOL! She did, we celebrated! More successes came after that. She even got down from the dinner table (of her yummy guacamole I may add), and we went and had another success.
During bath time tonight, she told me she had to go. So we got out and she went again. Praise God! I think she is starting to get it. I am going to give it a full day tomorrow again. I can’t imagine what I would do if it weren’t for 3daypottytraining.com. I seriously wouldn’t know what to do next. I used this method for Lili, and it worked great. I am hoping for the same results this time around.
Oh if I never saw Bubble Guppies again, it would be too soon. At least however, today she started asking for “Mel-Mo” too. If you can’t guess that, it’s Elmo! So we had some variety, hallelujah!! And, look at her little butt cheeks. LOVE EM!!
Sorry Mike, I just had to include this picture. It was too cute not too! 🙂
On to tomorrow, I am hopeful and I will leave it at that!
