This kid doesn’t mess around. She wants to do things the first time I guess. Potty training was awesome, and now moving her to a big girl bed. We were SO nervous about it. We have “tried” a few times before, but really all we did was put her in the bed and say good night. Needless to say that didn’t work too well.
Well Tuesday night was IT! THE night!! We cracked down and told her where she was sleeping. We prayed with her, sang a few songs and said good night. She cried for a second and then came out. From there we told her that wasn’t allowed. She went in and didn’t come out! Couldn’t believe it.
After about 40 minutes we heard nothing so Mike decided to go check on her. She peeked her eyes open and looked right at him. Oops! About 2 minutes later out she comes walking, blankie in hand 🙂 It was adorable. So I brought her back and placed her back in bed. She flipped over on her tummy and we heard nothing from her the rest of the night.
When we were heading to bed, I snuck in there to look at her again. Plus we were moving Lili to the top bunk. She made a “new” bed on the ground. So funny! So back in the bed she went!
Meanwhile, we decided to put Lili to bed in our bed. She made a nice little bed for her and her “baby”…right in the laundry basket.
Oh these girls make us laugh!
